  3. It's impossible to overstate the importance of E-40 in Bay Area hip-hop. Also impossible to overstate the love he gets. In addition, he's the favorite of my son, from the hip-hop generation, and 40's been a positive influence on him. E-40 is to my son as Bruce Springsteen is to me.
